Products Damaged in Delivery

Important: Always check the condition of the packaging before signing the delivery receipt.

If you receive an order with visibly damaged, open, or tampered packaging, refuse delivery . If you accept the order and find damage to the product, contact us within 24 hours at hello@barkandmiau.com with photos of the packaging and the damaged product.

Claim deadline: All claims for damages must be made within 24 hours of delivery. See our Shipping page for more information.


Exchanges

In case of an exchange, you should always contact our Customer Support by sending an email to hello@barkandmiau.com . Indicate which item(s) you wish to exchange and the item(s) you wish to receive (with reference and size).

Exchange Options:

1. Exchange with home pickup (R$ 5.90)
In the same service, the delivery person delivers the new order and collects the old order for return. Payment in advance via ATM or bank transfer.
Note: This service is only available for exchanges (not returns).

2. Shipping via registered mail (recommended)
Send your order by registered mail for tracking and security to:

Mainland Portugal: €3.99-€5.90

After we receive your exchange request, we will process it within 3-5 business days and ship the new order. The shipping cost for the new order will be €5.90, payable in advance.


Returns

a. Refund and Right of Withdrawal

You have the option to exercise your right of withdrawal and return any product(s) you do not wish to keep within 14 days of receiving your order.

Return Conditions:

  • Return shipping costs are your responsibility (estimate: €3.99-€5.90 Portugal | €4.99-€7.90 Spain)
  • The products must be in new condition : unused, unwashed, with original tags. You can try the product, but do not use it.
  • Products must be in their original, intact packaging.
  • We recommend sending via registered mail for tracking and security.

Products Not Eligible for Return:

  • Food products or snacks after opening the packaging.
  • Hygiene products after use
  • Customized products (if applicable)

Return Procedure:

  1. Log in to your Bark&Miau account and go to "My Returns".
  2. Click on "Place a return request" and select the request.
  3. Choose the product(s) and state the reason for the return.
  4. Print the "Return Guide" which you must insert inside the package.
  5. Send by registered mail to the address indicated above.

Important: Keep the postal service receipt proving the return of your package. Bark&Miau declines all responsibility for any loss or damage during transport of the package.

Bark&Miau reserves the right to refuse any return that does not have a return slip.

Processing and Refund:

After we receive your return, we will process the request within 3-5 business days . You will be refunded the amounts paid for the order, excluding return shipping costs.

Initial shipping costs:

  • If you return the entire order: initial shipping costs will be refunded.
  • If you only return part of the order: the initial shipping cost will not be refunded.

The refund will be credited to the bank card or PayPal account used, within 14 days of receiving and verifying the returned package.

b. Order Error

If you receive products that do not match your order, please contact us within 7 days of receipt by email ( hello@barkandmiau.com ) or phone (+351 915 301 711, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, weekdays).

We will cover the return shipping costs in case of an error on our part. You must attach the proof of payment provided by the postal service.

The refund (products + return shipping costs) will be processed within 14 days. You will also have the option to request a credit, usable for a new order, valid for one year.


Commercial Guarantee

Defective Products

According to Decree-Law No. 84/2021, of October 18, Bark&Miau is obliged to deliver goods as ordered and is liable for any defects or non-conformities.

Warranty period: 3 years from the date of delivery of the goods.

Procedure: Contact us as soon as possible by phone (+351 915 301 711) or email to notify us of defects or non-conformity.

After receiving instructions, please resend the products to the address above.

Conditions: Products must be returned complete, in their original packaging, with the packaging, return slip, and invoice.

Consumer Rights:

  • Restoration of conformity (repair or replacement)
  • Proportional price reduction
  • Contract termination

Special Deadline: If the non-conformity becomes apparent within the first 30 days after delivery, you may request immediate replacement of the goods or termination of the contract.

Yes, you can try it on, but don't use it. The product must be in new, unused, unwashed condition, with original tags.

Yes, the same policy applies. Estimated return costs for Spain: €4.99 - €7.90.

How much does it cost to return a product?
Mainland Portugal: €3.99-€5.90 | Spain: €4.99-€7.90 (by registered mail). In case of error on our part or defective product, we will cover the costs.
