My name is Rui Machado and I have over 20 years of experience in dog care. This service offers a unique experience where dogs are treated as part of the family. When your companion is in my care, my focus is on ensuring that they have an exceptionally high quality, happy and peaceful stay.

Your companion will be staying at our home in Guimarães. That is why we provide this service in this northern area (Braga, Guimarães).
Yes! Your dog will adapt much more easily if he comes home with me (after a certain amount of time) than if he is left at our home, watching his owner leave.
Sometimes our clients travel to the North, so they take the opportunity to leave their companions with us, thus staying closer.
The fewer changes, the better. Therefore, you should bring the food your dog usually eats in the quantity necessary for the days you will be staying with us.
If you want, you can also leave any accessories that your dog likes, such as a bed, toys, ...
Other dogs may be present at the same time, but we will never have more than 4. We do not sacrifice the well-being of any dog for the sake of financial gain. In other words, if we have a dog that, despite not being aggressive towards other dogs, is afraid and does not like contact with other dogs, then we will not accept more dogs at the same time. Our focus is always on the well-being of your dog!
We ask that our guests book at least 30 days in advance. Especially for first-time guests, we like to meet your dog before they come to stay with us. This gives us time to prepare a more enjoyable stay.

In High Season*, the price is €25 per night and in Low Season** the price is €20 per night.
Depending on the level of care your dog needs and their behavior, this amount can be adjusted.
Nights are counted as in human hotels - check-in must be between 3pm and 7pm and check-out must be by 12pm. This is the only way we can accommodate the routines of the other dogs (and the family too!).
If there are delays, a fee may be charged.
*High Season: Carnival, Easter, from June 15th to September 15th, Christmas and New Year's Eve and long weekends.
**Low Season: remaining dates
Yes! :) From the 7th night onwards, we offer a 10% discount per night.
At the time of booking, 20% of the total must be paid. At the start of the stay, an additional 30% of the total will be charged. The remaining 50% of the total must be paid when your companion picks up.
Yes, you can cancel. We know that unexpected things happen :)
In this case, and if the cancellation is made less than 15 days before the start of the stay, you will lose the 20% payment made at the time of booking (since your booking took the place from another/s).
This has never happened to us before! But if you are really unhappy, please let us know what caused you a problem so we can improve. You can also use the means at your disposal as a customer to make a complaint.
